Introducing the Fairymount Tiny Companions — A New Collection of Seasonal Art Prints

Some collections arrive with a grand plan. Others simply appear in my mind one image at a time, until you look up and realise you have created something that feels entirely its own.

The Fairymount Tiny Companions collection is one of those.

It began with a single image: a tiny fairy in a cream knitted dress, holding out a daisy to the most patient, most gentle white donkey in all of Fairymount. Something about that moment, the offering, the stillness, the trust felt true in a way that was hard to explain. So I kept going.

Four Seasons, Four Friends

The collection follows one fairy and her beloved little donkey through the turning of the year, each season captured in a single, quiet moment of connection.

In spring, she offers him a daisy in a misty meadow of clover and wildflowers, and he leans in to sniff it with great seriousness.

In summer, she presses her cheek to his in a field of purple clover, and neither of them notices the bees or the breeze, they are too busy being exactly where they want to be.

In autumn, she leans forward to press the softest of kisses to the nose of her chestnut companion, surrounded by fallen maple leaves and acorns, while the whole world glows amber and gold.

And in winter, well, in Fairymount, the dandelion puffs bloom even in the snow (artistic licence has been taken, and I stand by it). She wraps her arms around her grey donkey's neck and holds on tight, her wings glowing like a lantern in the cold grey light.
